This presentation will review atypical or unique presentations observed among some IST populations, with focused attention on the following topics: Autism, severe personality pathology, disinhibited behavioral presentations, and conspiracy theories/overvalued beliefs. The authors will be discussing the literature pertaining to these populations, as well as the author’s insights from experience in a state hospital setting. This unique training will address perspectives from psychologists working in the domains of competency restoration treatment and forensic evaluation.
